Been over 2 years since my last post - yes, I procrastinate a lot, and it's no wonder some projects I never finish at all. Well what happened in the last two years? Well, got me a girlfriend (yea!), moved twice (ugh), got caught up in a new miniature game (Star Wars X-Wing), and of course got two years older (grrr). Still at the same job, hitting the 27 month mark. Still collecting LEGOs (Star Wars in particular), but since the last move (barely a month ago) my collection is sitting in a storage unit due to lack of space in the newer home - did I mention that from two years ago, I went from living by myself with 2 cats in a 2 bedroom apartment to living with my girlfriend, her nephew, his girlfriend, her mother and my girlfriend's father plus a dog and 3 cats? No? Well, no wonder I seem a bit stressed and out of sorts. It's a long story, and most of it isn't my business to relate, so suffice to say, I live in a (almost too) full house.
So, did I complete any projects? Well, I think I completed a few more Star Wars costumes. I think I mentioned once that I got involved with the 501st Legion and the Rebel Legion Star Wars Costuming groups. I now have an Imperial Crewman, an AT-ST Driver, an AT-AT Commander (aka General Veers in armor), an Imperial Officer, an AT-AT Driver, a Rebel Fleet Trooper, a Rebel Endor Commando and a Bith Musician costume (all approved), plus a Republic Clone Wars Officer (aka Admiral Wullf Yularen from the Clone Wars cartoon) costume that I need to actually finish some day (need to make boot-top flaps). Plus I have a Cylon Centurian costume (ok, so that's not actually Star Wars, but Battlestar Galactica was inspired by Star Wars). Oh, and a Visitor Officer from the 80's mini-series V. And yeah, got my girlfriend into this too, she's got an Imperial Crewman, a Rebel Fleet Trooper and a Bith Musican (you can't tell well from the picture, but her Bith is a slightly different shade than mine, and since the photo I made a more screen accurate instrument for her), and she's working on an Royal Guard costume.
So, ok, I might have been a bit busy the past two years...
